These vessels, some of Japan and Australia's top-tier destroyers, are known for their combat capabilities and serve as a deterrent during times of conflict. Just a few days earlier, on September 13, Germany's Baden-Württemberg and Frankfurt frigates quietly passed through the strait, reaffirming the commitment to freedom of navigation, although in a more low-profile manner.
