Hi Doc a quick question. Do you now how to access the menu without a remote beening able to be used.? My fire tv box apps are visible but I am able to access them. This happened after trying to clean the system from a newly downloaded app. It's completely useless at the moment and I have tried loads of thing with no success. It's like it's lockin and the bluetooth is not functioning. Cheers

ok so heres a question for you
I have a firestick that I brought over from the UK,
I'm now in the USA and I cant find my Remote or get any remotes to work with the firestick, I've tried the holding the Home and the more, back and left toggle button with no joy.
I also cant remember my old UK wifi setting to do the 2 phone wifif hotspot reset.
my firestick powera up ok then after a couple of minutes says it cant find the network settings, and then goes to a wallpaper. so I know that its working ok.
is there a way without wifi and a remote to reset the firestick, ie PC and USB etc

PLEASE HELP! I follow you and you have helped me so much! I need help! I went to a friend's house to reset the fire stick to factory settings. It just sits there on the logo screen with the 3 dots. It did that for an hour. I brought it home to my house trying to fix it. I waited about an HR before hooking it up. I hooked it up and it's still on the logo screen with the three dots at the bottom doing nothing. Left it like that all night. This morning, same. I can't even pair the remote or hook it up to my internet or anything to try and factory reset. Help please!! I feel bad because I was trying to help a friend and now they are without a fire stick and think I should have left it alone, but it was so slow and buffering. I was only trying to help. Never had this problem before. I'm lost!
