5 ways to create more time to make music

The speed of your progression toward your goal of making money with music is largely dependent upon the time you have to spend in the studio. Many people lead busy lives with other obligations and priorities, and say, "I just don't have time to sink into this..." So, these five tips might help you discover areas in your life where you can effectively "steal" time from, and give you the motivation to dedicate that time to music instead.

My songs were accepted to a library for the first time this week. Admittedly, I've been working towards this since before I found Matt's Videos. However, I've been referencing these videos lately, and used the King, Queen, Jack, Ace method for some of the tracks that were accepted.

Made a HUGE difference when I quit playing video games. I used to get up at 4 A.N. and play Fortnite until my wife woke up. Now, I get up a little after 4 and go out to the studio on my computer that DOESN'T have any games on it. After morning chores, I treat my studio time as a job that I like. You know as well as I do what one can do in a short period of time working on production music. NOW... I do watch TV with my wife from 6 PM on. We go to sleep at 9.

Woof, +1 to the morning time before the kids wake up. There's something about that uninterrupted time while everyone's asleep and your brain has reset that makes for focused work. I shoot for 5-6AM and those time slots work wonders!
