Demonstration of the complete Kaizer SSTC II

Fullbridge of IRFP460 MOSFETs driven by a selftuning driver at around 250kHz.

Interrupted mode: 100 - 2000W at 260VAC input voltage.
Continues Wave mode: 2000 - 4000W at 200VAC input voltage.
Audio modulated mode: 300 - 400W at 150VAC input voltage.

PS. the iPod deserves to die in a fire since its a crappy design that can't handle massive transient voltages

from high voltage experiments (it died to my audio modulated flyback).

Hello Can you introduce me to other ICs instead of ucc37321 and ucc37322? Actually I couldn't find them

I have a question. it’s my first time building an SSTC. And I dont really know for sure which is the best method to supply the control circuit and the full bridge. I saw that you use a 12 V dc for the circuit and a Variac for the full bridge.
I can get a variac but Im not sure about the supply for the circuit, I usually see people using 120VAC or 230 VAC supplys.
What is the difference exactly?
