I'm always intrigued and amazed by the videography behind these types of videos. Think about it. First you have to find the snakes and not scare them off. Then you get the camera (and yourself?) Down at their level and finally make sure the composition, lighting, and focus are all acceptable. Kudos!

I would always appreciate it if they included in these videos that many of us keep the large constrictors in our homes as pets and safely interact with them on a near daily basis. My largest is a 16 ft male reticulated python and he has an awesome disposition, a complete joy to work with.

Snakes do NOT unhinge their jaws (RE Gaboon viper). They have very stretchy ligaments that connect the jaws & skull that allow them to swallow much larger prey.

Gaboon viper is one of the fastest tho after the puff adder. Same family too ''Bitis''

Snakes don't unhinge their jaw on command, that is a misconception. The lower mandibles are not connected to the top in the first place.
