Floor Jansen is also a vocal coach and she is one of the most versatile singers on the planet. She is a vocal magician.

Maybe you could check some more NW songs... How's the Heart" acoustic on planet rock is usually called "a vocal workout".... "Shoemaker" is another masterpiece with Floor singing opera in the passagio... "Your's an empty hope" shows her growling deep in all chorus... "Dead boy's poem" is a beautiful ballade... Song of Myself have a really wide vocal range (D3-G5)... Romanticide she goes to a D6 or F6 depending wich show... And for me, the song "Pan" is so hard I can't even sing along... Or just go for The Greatest Show on Earth and watch her doing all I mentioned before in a song with 25 minutes of belts that can be heard in the moon...

Floor joined the band mid tour, she had to learn the set list in 48 hours (while also flying from Europe to the US). And all the songs are more or less just like this one, lots and lots of lyrics... Floor is just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

I recommend you react to Nightwish "The Islander" Tampere 2015. The song is composed by Marko, the bassist, you heard singing on "The Phantom of the Opera". His vocals on "The Islander" are totally different because the song is very different from any other Nightwish song. It's not symphonic metal, it is mellow with Celtic vibes brought by Troy, the multi-instrumentalist from the UK. He plays the Uillean pipes, low whistle, tin whistle, bouzouki, guitar... a dozen instruments.
