How to Schedule Instagram Posts with Canva

Canva now has an option for scheduling Instagram posts directly from Canva. Simply create your post on Canva's website or app, and schedule it by linking your Instagram business page to it.
You can also use their content planner calendar to schedule and view all your posts in advance.

If you are new to Canva, here is the full tutorial on using Canva:

In order to use this option in Canva, you need a few things.
You need a subscription to Canva Pro.
You need to turn your Instagram page into a business page.
And you need to link a Facebook page to Instagram.

Once you link your Instagram business page to Canva, you can schedule directly from Canva to Instagram. Since you might already be using Canva to create Instagram posts, this makes it one of the best social media scheduling apps and content creations apps out there.

And Canva Pro has a lot of other useful options like resizing your posts for all platforms in different shapes and sizes.

Thank you. Super excited about this. I use Planoly for scheduling and like that I can analyze my engagement etc in Planoly. I wonder if Canva will keep expanding and offer that as well. Plus a grid view. If they do, I’m In!!

I would like to use this to schedule directly from however I have been stopped by a problem many other ppl have too and that is: I have connected my business IG to my Business FB but the FB business suite still won't recognize the connection despite going through several times logging out and reconnecting it. The fact that Canva has done this is excellent though I dont know if because that connection remains broken in FB that it will have problems with fb.

i've tried this but I can not click my instagram account on the dropdown menu, and the pop up notification said I don't have authorization to publish, how can I solve this problem?

I'm having a problem here. I have made a lot of Instagram stories that I'm planning to schedule. It's going to be some 4-6 images per story. The format is set to Canvas pre-set for Instagram Stories. But here is the issue. It wants me to pick mp4. Even then it says that the image is too tall and offers to resize it. But, it is not the wrong size, and my stories are designed to be images. Ok, I can choose jpg too, but then it absolutely wants to change the image size. So, I have not gone further than that. I am suspecting that it wants me to post it as an Instagram post instead of a story. My setup is that I choose Instagram business - that I have linked to a page. I was expecting that Canva would eighter recognize that it is a story I want to post, or that I can choose that it is a story I want to post. Format is set to 1080*1920.
