200 mile range is a deal breaker. At this point in EV evolution, no car at these price points should have a sub 300 mile range.

New reviews suggest that the range goes down to 120 miles when you have 3 passengers in the car with the AC on. Hard pass!

Was on the list for the rz. In the end, I went with model y. 1. Price 2. Range 3. Tax Rebate 3. More reliable charging stations.

That range is trash compared to a Tesla, but the interior is nicer in some ways

That pano sunroof is a disaster here in Vegas. That opaque feature is an extra $1k. Other than that you have to buy a separate sunroof panel covers for an additional $400. I test drove it today and the AC was literally not cooling at all and my head was cooking even with the opaque feature turned on. The glass was getting so hot. They don't make the car with a normal sunroof or no sunroof option.

Everyone is trashing the range, I used to think it’s important too, but after owning a model y i realized it makes little difference if it’s 200 or 300 miles, as long as you don’t have daily commute that exceeds it…the occasional long road trip is easily resolved by finding a charging station.

I much rather have the Lexus than the shtty Tesla I have now, build quality is a joke, interior is cheap as fuq, no iPhone integration, no dash, every god damn thing has to go through the monitor or voice control, and basic auto highway follow requires rolling the dice with your life due to random phantom breaking (extremely dangerous at high speed ) all because Tesla is the only auto maker insisting on camera only system, what a joke.

Going to dump it as soon as eqe, ex90 or this Lexus has been on the road for a while to ensure no major issues and make the switch.

There's a lot more reasons not to change or prefer a Lexus over a Tesla Model Y. But Tesla speaks for its self.

Was going to buy a BZ4X until the wheels fell off and a 10k mark up which pushed it into Tesla prices. Bought a model 3, best decision

Toyota is obviously not planning on making or selling a lot of these. Loyal Lexus fans will buy this because it’s a nice luxury car and they won’t care that it’s a mediocre electric car. Then if they decide to buy another electric car, it probably won’t be a Lexus.
