A True and Unsettling Mountain Climber Horror Story
This time, I will share a story about my self-development activities with communities different from ours in terms of culture and socio-economic status, commonly known as live-in programs, spiced with a horror experience. This activity was a mandatory program organized by my school when I was in 10th grade.
As a student who participated in this activity, I found it very exciting and a great way to develop oneself by learning about different cultures and socio-economic conditions in other regions.
This activity usually takes place quite far from our usual surroundings to make the differences more palpable. Not only far, but we also stayed with the villagers for several days, depending on the school. The school usually prepares what we will do at the destination and what needs to be brought.
