1 very best albums ever, masterpiece. Album is story, listen that way. I was 15 year 1985, I did cry because I was overwhelming happy.i am "beginner" in music listening, I am only 54. I envy partly those who are 70+. I still wait live concert or good studio live.

I remember really loving "The Dreaming, " but everyone at the time thought that Kate had lost her marbles. Then this album came out and people quickly started saying, "Maybe she's not that crazy after all...She just might be a genius..." One of the best examples of the depth of her work.

The whole album is wonderful, but I want to point out that Side Two is one piece, called "The Ninth Wave, " which tells a kind of mystical story. It has a most amazing epiphany moment, that always gives me goosebumps. Sit back, close your eyes, and prepare to be transported... It starts @20:52.
