the problem is that if you use shielders, the characters’ individual shields will deplete with every turn they use
say one of your characters takes 1 turn for every 2 turns another character does, and the shield lasts for 3 turns
the second character’s shield will be removed first, and the first character will still have a shield for 3 or more turns of the second character’s

i'm sorry to ruin the joke, but that is just physically impossible, to get a 5 star, you need 90 pulls in the worst case scenario, and even if it was 100, he'd still be only 20 pulls away from a guaranteed, so even if the person had yet to make a single pull ever since their last guaranteed pull, and only getting a 5 star after hitting 100 pulls, they'd still be able to get to the 200th pull, as the version with dragon heng has the event which gives 10 pulls for free, every new version gives 3 pulls for free as well, and new ingame content, as well as dailies would easily get the last 9 pulls needed, so even in the bleakest of cases, that person would still get dragon heng, maybe not his lightcone, but dragon heng would definitely come home under the shown circumstances
