This is such bullshit. LFC were already after Salah way before Chelsea. The only reason Chelsea got him was because Liverpool owners were cheapskates and refused to pay the asking price, thus entering into a month long negotiation. This opened the door for Chelsea who finished the deal in just 1 week.

Because he is Egyptian, not a Brazilian or Argentinian, Mo Salah never got the respect he deserved in Chelsea and still ppl look at him as a surprise this season. I knew lol. I followed him through his loan with Fioratina and time at Roma. His improvement began at Fioratina and his tactical awareness improved during Roma thanks to Inter Milan current manager. Salah has tremendous pace and control with the ball, knows when to run down the channels and press. He's not afraid to run at defenders since he faced top class defenders in Serie A. I found out Klopp was interested I knew he was going to be their biggest signing. Even Klopp is surprised with Salah's contribution this season. Klopp's attacking system compliments Salah's attacking instincts especially with the team constantly feeding him the ball. Great to see Salah get the praise he deserves. I was disappointed that Chelsea refused to buy him back after his loan with roma (turned it into a permanent transfer the following year).

I saw Salah in big Roma games, and I think that even though he was great at Roma, Liverpool playing style fit him better, he gets the most of his talent to show playing with us. I wasn´t quite sure what to think about the transfer fee, as the prices have gone truly insane, but now it seems transfer of the year easily. Try to buy Salah now, no chance under £ 200 000 000.
