I'm only 3 minutes in but I have to say, I love the zoom-in-to-pitched-battle thing. Really, really love it.

Only thing I would criticize is that they should make the dialog more fluid. There is A LOT of dialog, which I'm fine with, but it goes like this:
Person A talks... pause... person B talks.... pause.... person C makes a comment.... pause.... person A asks person C to shut up... pause... person C apologizes... pause... person B takes the conversation back on track... pause... and so on.
I like that there is a plot and that the characters each have their own personality, but I would like to listen to it as if it was an actual conversation, without having a 3 second pause between every character talking, and without having to click as if it was a visual novel.
Other than that, the game seems awesome, the graphics and the animations look outstanding. As Splat mentioned, it's hard to believe it's an indie game by just looking at it.

About halfway through, I paused the video to add this to my wishlist, I am so stoked that this comes out super soon. This is why I'm subscribed to you, you find a random game that I'd never heard of but after this taste, I already know that I am shortly gonna play it for hours and hours. Mad props to you Splat

HOW IS THIS MAN SO EFORTLESSLY FUNNY! He has such a way of riffing off of everything, talking about random stuff mid game very tangentially related to anything that's happening but still being involved in the game, I really really enjoy watching him and appreciate the hell out of this channel. I doubt he reads these, considering the amount of work he has, but keep it up man. You're golden~

When Splatty and ACG review at the same day a game that has TURN BASED and RPG in it - and I never heard of it.. I never felt so surprised.
PS: "hiding in the bushes like Creed" - the WH40k meme game is on point!

14:40 A scene inspired by Disney's Aladdin. Half expected the soldier to say, "I've killed street rats for less..."

Cutscenes really need a bit more snap to them. Fade in and fade out for every line gets a bit plodding.

*Fire Emblem*
That is what it reminds me off. Fire Emblem with 3D combat graphics.
All of the basic mechanics and flow seems to be there. Even details like:
- enemies only activate if you move to close
- having to move and attack in 1 go, but can undo movement
- ZoC's. Counter Attacks. Basic Unit Types.
- XP on every clash, even without kills
- Risk Range Feature might be a nice QoL addition
- even the Levelup seems similar

The models are cool and textures are great, but there is a lot of work to do. It looks like a good game and I really hope the devs take the time.
- Model setup is good, but expressions need to be done. I'm sure it's a lot of render time.
- Models need way more puppeteering.
- Voicing is serviceable for a demo, but I really hope there's a recut after the dialogue pass. Like when the main character is calling for them to run, he's just talking loudly in a room, not yelling, not out of breath, no urgency, really. When he's talking down the guard, there's no pleading, tension, or danger. It sounds like he's trying to return a library book late.
- When two actors are running dialogue back and forth, just keep both on the screen. The long pause to redraw them as they are brought in really breaks the flow of conversation, stretches out the scene unnecessarily and gets annoying fast.
- The combat zoom with background goings-on is a really nice touch to set a sense of depth and scale.

Thanks for putting this one on my Radar Splatty :D Looks like a Medieval "Front Mission 3" from the Gameplay to the Armor Types to the Narration style and considering that FM3 was bar non my favourite Game on PS1 i cant wait to sink my teeth into this Gem. No big stompy mechs to customize and repaint but if the Armor and Weapon selection later is on par with the rest of the Quality its showing thus far this is gonna be a banger :D

The world building won me over, also i like that there's no xcom percentage hit chance bullshit on the battles

In a very weird way this reminds me of final fantasy tactics; a long, drawn out narrative opening, but once you get past it opens up into a vast world to battle through with much more creative control.
