I just installed LifeProof water resistance and scratch proof on my second floor (approx 990 sqft) and could not be happier. My house is less than 5 years old and it was replacing a carpet. I also did the whole project with no transition. The installation was easy to be honest. The most consuming part was cutting the door trim so you can slide the plank underneath it. Installing forward or backwards wasn't an issue. I really love the product. It did pass a test with my 80lbs energetic goldendoodle. He has been running, sliding, slipping jumping on the floor and not a single scratch. I have engineered bamboo downstairs which is in terrible shape due to the scratches caused by my dog and top layer coming off probably because off moping down with too much water... I will be covering this garbage flooring with LifeProof too! When you do it for your own house and want the most out of it, make sure to go at least 7mm thick which LifeProof is. It covers your sub floor imperfections much better and feels more sturdy.

Looks like you did the whole house without any transitions. That is what I want to accomplish as well. I assume you had to install some of the bedrooms "backwards" was that really difficult/near impossible or is the LifeProof pretty easy to work with in that regard? From what I can tell some vinyl plank brands are easier than others to install "backwards" or to "backfill" and some might even be impossible to do that, definitely want to know if LifeProof is the way to go if no transitions is my goal. Installation is really a pain. Tiles unlocking is a problem. Will not use it again.

This is a Home Depot flooring. Wondering if after making their money they will abandon the product as they did with the ritetemp thermostat I purchased a few years ago. This product is not Flood proof. I do reside in FL.

Save your money, , this is the cheapest, vinyl floor out there, , great install video!! My thumbs down is for the product
