I lived in Hamburg for 6 months staying with families. One family lived in Billstedt on the East Side and the other lived in Blankenese on the West Side. That was 50 years ago, when I was only 19 years old. It was my first exposure to a German speaking environment.

Ich bin vor 4 jahren dort geweisen, Hagensbeck tier park und aquarium, Dungeon, miniatur wunderland, Groß freihet straße, hafen, war alles sehr schön..ja hamburg schon mein liebling stadt

Mein Tipp: Jetzt zur Corona Zeit habe ich den Ohlsdorfer Friedhof zu schätzen gelernt. Größter Parkfriedhof in Europa. Gibt echt viele nette Seen, Springbrunnen, Waldlichtungen, Viele verschiedene Tierarten (Es gibt Z. B. eine Eisvogel Population), Orte wo man sich gut zurückziehen kann und mit Decke auf dem Rasen ein gutes Buch genießen kann. Man kann da auch gut Fahrrad fahren. Außerdem im Vergleich zum Stadtpark echt ruhig. Grillen und Musik geht natürlich nicht 😉
