yeah but good form is also generally safer than cheat reps so imo its prob smarter to use good form
also good form makes it easier track reps because each one will be more similar

“Good form” in the context of the study basically just meant not using momentum.

That doesn’t mean that form tweaks don’t matter or don’t affect how you target certain muscles. “Form tweaks” are different from simply not using momentum. Those issues shouldn’t be conflated.

if cheat reps are equally as good for muscle growth as strict form then strict form is objectively better. less systemic fatigue, lower injury risk, better ability to track progressive overload.

Having good form gives you a foundation to increase in weight with. Create bad habits and every PR you aim for has an increased level of injury.

Mario actually has good traps and shoulders. Say what you want, but for his size, dude is practicing what he preaches. He doesn’t have the best genetics, but he works his best attributes and it shows. Btw, so is Jeff Nipples. Accept them both for going for what their main goals are. Which are different from each other.

The form is more so you don’t hurt yourself lol. Good form is still better for this very reason. Don’t swing around heavy weight unless you want a trip to snapcity.
