KJV Only Extremism 😳 #Shorts

Some people in the KJV Only community believe that the King James Bible has special authority or inspiration from God… which can lead to thinking like this where someone is saying that the ORIGINAL Greek manuscripts of the Bible are less accurate that the KJV translation. I absolutely respect those who prefer the KJV, but this goes too far.

When we worship King James rather than the King of Kings.

That is one of the most ignorant things I've ever seen/heard in my entire life

This is cult level. I am a Christian and attend a Baptist church. Every time I've visited a "KJV only" church it felt off or like a cult.

It's interesting, because the King James translators themselves would have strongly disagreed with this guy. In their translators to the readers preface, they said:

"We affirm and avow, that the very meanest (i.e. mediocre) translation of the Bible in English, set forth by men of our profession, containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God. No cause therefore why the word translated should be denied to be the word, or forbidden to be current, notwithstanding that some imperfections and blemishes may be noted in the setting forth of it. For what ever was perfect under the Sun, where Apostles or Apostolic men, that is, men endued with an extraordinary measure of God's spirit, and privileged with the privilege of infallibility, had not their hand?"

They believed that other translations could be called the Word of God (even though they considered them to have imperfections) and they only thought that the original autographs (penned down by the Apostles) were perfect, so they didn't consider their work perfect by any means.

You can even hear someone in the congregation hesitate after the “correct the Greek” comment. “Am-ohhhh…Amen.” 😂

Well… that’s pretty amusing! How exactly do you correct the Greek text the KJV was translated from??? 🤣🤣🤣

Use the KJV to correct the Greek septuagint? Hardly! These people are embarrassing themselves. Let’s
get serious here people. Jesus and His disciples did not speak 16th century Shakespeare English. The KJV is a translation itself. The first English Bible, came out 50 years before the KJV……it’s known as the Geneva Bible. The Geneva Bible came out in 1560, it’s the Bible that the pilgrims had when landing on Plymouth Rock. They wouldn’t be caught dead using the KJV Bible. It’s ridiculous to say, that the KJV is the only inspired English Bible. Come on people, wise up.

They don't see the sin in their pride and idolatry. That not a church. They worship King James, not Jesus.

Mob mentality in action. “What’d he just say? Oh, yeah. Amen!”

So what they are saying is God spoke to the translators when they wrote the KJV. Aren't these the same folk who say God doesn't speak to us anymore or God is done revealing truth to us? SMH

No you can't.. sounds like a Kjv onlyist preacher I heard who basically said the same thing.
Just differently.

Sad… not even the translators believed their book could correct the Greek. What about Hebrews 2:16? The KJV reading comes from the marginal notes of the Bishops Bible!

I love how he says he goes by every word of it but it says to fast in it yet he’s obviously not doing that.

Any English translation of the bible that removes verses is not God's preserved word.

Did you know that the NIV has 60, 000 words less than the KJV, that should tell you right there that God's preserved word in English is the KJV.

I don’t think everyone agrees with his statement of correcting the KJV. I love it because of the way it’s worded.

Is David a Bible worshipper?

Psalms 56:4
“In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
