I am one of eight kids. My mother was overwhelmed and handed me the youngest child when she came home from the hospital after birth. I had no choice. I was nine years old.

I will never forget when Jill (?) and her fiancee went to this minigolf date with her parents and her father "jokingly" humped her mother and kind of teased Jill's fiancee that he had to be married to do that.

It was just so creepy and her mom just giggled. That just ripped the facade off for me.

Josh Duggar isn't the only deviant man in this community if not also the family.

When the show FIRST came on the air I said that it will eventually come out that Josh molested a few of his sisters. Call me intuitive or call me a victim who can see a predator either way... I HATE that I was CORRECT.

I took a Family Development class in high school. We watched a video about the Duggars when they had 14 children at the time. Michelle's speech and Jim-Bob's aloofness was so cringe.

I'm very glad that jill was brave enough to write this book. So many times families put a fake Facetime for the public. While the children are being severely abused, something's wrong with that mother. If someone in my family did that to one of my daughters, they'd be lucky to get out with their life. She just stood there with that stupid grin on Her face.

Am I the only one who knew something was incredibly wrong the first time I saw the show? I knew because every child acted the exact same, dressed the exact same, and looked the exact same which can only happen through physical and psychological and emotional abuse. Because people are individuals and everyone is very different so when that isn't showing it's being suppressed but how do you get a child to suppress something? *Severe trauma* & *emotional damage*

I had to work in Judsonia for about a week and its in the same area where these people live. After a few days i wanted a beer and i noticed there was no bars in that area and very few places served liquor. Come to find out, there is some kind of Baptist college there that bought up all the liquor licenses so it couldn't be sold anywhere. 🤦‍♀️ EVEN UTAH ISN'T THIS CRAY CRAY!!!

Once I realized this family was definitely a Christian cult, I was repulsed. I also hated the whole have the older siblings raise the younger sibling crap. No you're a mother and father, raise your damn kids. Repression and control leads to acting out. It seems as though the older Duggars are super mature though and rejecting this cult BS.

I never thought they were a perfect family. I thought they were highly dysfunctional and always suspected sexual abuse within the family.
