Exact time (NTP) for your ESP/Arduino without RTC module

In this video, I would like to build simple clocks using the ESP (Wemos Lolin D32 Pro) internal timer and regular NTP server queries to provide a relatively accurate time. The first part uses a simple query whose result is parsed and returned to serial output. The second demo already shows how to use simple TFT panel clocks to display the signal strength for the Wifi connection that is required to periodically synchronize the time.

If you want to build a similar project, source codes are available here:
(the code also contains the fonts used in the project)

Where to buy:

basic ESP32:

Lolin32 Lite:

Lolin D32 Pro (used in video):

TFT shield/display

Can be combined with this RTC module, which will retain time after disconnecting of power supply:

YouTube recently changed the way they monetize my content. My channel now needs 1, 000 subscribers so it would be awasome if you could show your support by both watching my videos and subscribing to my channel if you haven't already done so. Monetizing my videos allows me to invest back into the channel with new equipment so a small gesture from you goes huge way for me. Many thanks for your support! :)

Hi plukas, I liked the project!
You say: "Can be combined with this RTC module ...." so what should be added in the sketch to use the RTC? Thank you

Everybody needs to quit it with the music. I feel like I'm watching soft porn.
