There seems to be a lot of confusion around this, i'll clear it up. They are both the same exact boss, just different genders. To do this, when Cap'N Cuttlefish is drawing the missing poster, just choose what gender you want it to be in the boss fight. Second, to unlock this secret, collect all 80 Mem Cakes, without Marina's help. Then, proceed to the starting point of the Deep Sea Metro, go to the lockers. You should see one is glowing, if you don't, check your tests. If you do, go over to it and press "A". That is how you access the secret final boss. (Btw, for Girl Power, get a roller, on the opposite side of the map the Octolings will be idle, just use your vertical strike to splat them all then.)

tips that's useful for phase 5.
1. the cylinder is your friend. use that to dodge splash downs.
2. throw a bomb near them when they land after the third splash down
3. SHOOT LIKE CRAZY

I know people are trying to talk about how brave this person was to do it twice just for gender, but I kind of imagine that there’s more to that boss fight. I noticed that it says “inner agent 3 defeated”. I know I may sound dumb. I know the fight actually happened but I believe that that the memory of the fight is used to represent the feeling of having to suppress the good within you. I noticed that Agent 3 is implied to represent your inner conscience. Agent 3 is an actual being in the game, but Agent 8 seems to have taken on Agent 3 as a physical manifestation of his/her desire to have more in life and to be good for a change. The fight with Agent 3 two years ago was Agent 8 fighting in for the sake of loyalty, but was suppressing the need for more and was fighting the Calamari Inkantation.

It’s like forgiving your biggest foe for everything that she has done.

Ive been trying to beat this satan spawn of a boss for the past two hours now. Idk how you do it but props to you for sure. If I wasn’t broke I would genuinely find and pay someone to do this for me before I go insane
