This is far my MOST favorite movie. I wanted since I was a kid to make it (I watched "Sleeping Beauty" dozens of times only for Maleficent) but Disney beat me to it. Great job though. And Angelina is so good that if Walt Disney was still alive he would be very proud of this movie. Made over $750 million at the box office.

Stefan was guilty of hurting and betraying Maleficent by cutting her wings, his greed got his child Aurora to be cursed by Maleficent because he again offended her in public . Maleficent made her mistakes but she did learn something from them and eventually moved on. Stefan death was his own fault because at the end Maleficent did let him go for Aurora's sake only for that coward to attack her from behind.

OVIK!!! You have me a crying mess over here!! Wow there is SO MUCH I love about this!! Maleficent is actually my favourite Disney live-action adaptation. I love how the way it re-interprets the tale and even expands on the lore. I think it's one of the few films where the sequel actually benefits the overall world-building. And you've gone and reminded me just how much I enjoyed these films (and why I think I need to do a re-watch)!

I think what really works for me here is the non-chronological order of events? A lot of other Maleficent videos tend to showcase events in chronological order and while there's nothing wrong with that, I like how you've decided to take things a different route. The mirroring of the two films is genius; even though Aurora and Maleficient undergo some tough trials and tribulations, at the end of the day, their relationship and love for one another only grows, and you've showcased that so well here.

Anyways, the found family trope is the BEST and I'm so glad you chose to do a video about this incredible character because as always, you've done an excellent job :)
