Not condoning any deviant behavior on the part of R-Kelly, but I hope his sentencing is appealed and mitigated (lessened). There are entertainers who are still walking around and have exploited young teenaged girls and children. R-Kelly needed and still needs serious intervention. The parents of these youngsters failed as parents and saw to benefit from these relationships. R-Kelly shouldn't have received a fraction of the time he was sentenced. Some of you may not agree with me, but one has to look at the big picture. Instead of sentencing R-Kelly to a ridiculous amount of time, this time could be used for healing, counseling, and a degree of restitution to the victims. Being incarcerated for such a lengthy time will not help when R-Kelly can be out earning to provide rehabilitation to the victims while he gets help too.

I don't condone what he did but he IS a victim too. He was molested as a child. He never received any help. This was a situation where the victim became a predator himself. There were so many around many who aided him in destroying many lives including his own.This is
very very sad. Truth justice will be done.. The guilty cannot hide from God what they have hidden from man... I pray he returns to Christ and accepts the healing that the cross gives us all. Jesus died for him too.
