Sigma BF, the latest craze in the camera world is probably one of the most futuristic looking one. Love the look, the colour modes and the photos look amazing! BUT... it might not be for you.

I bought the Sigma BF and I’m using it everyday, both with Sigma “Contemporary” and Leica M lenses. It has a unique design, which is the aspect that struck me the most and that led me to pre-order it, and also in terms of functionality and method of use it is different from the usual and as such it must be understood and used. Apparently it seems that something is missing compared to the others (EVF, IBS, slot card, etc.) but in the end you understand that for standard use it is a complete and particular camera and unique in how it was conceived, both in design and concept. It is certainly an ideal camera for those who are passionate about design, beauty, practicality and essentiality. I like it so much that now I own a black that I equipped with a 50mm black “Contemporary” lens and also a silver that I equipped with a 35mm silver “Contemporary” lens. .

Nice review, though I do wish you had shown how good/bad the image quality is from that 35mm f2 lens is, when used on that camera (showing 100% zooms, and even 200% maybe). Thank you for showing off this little gem, and telling us your thoughts on it. The more reviews I see about the BF, the more I want one, even though I'm the type of photographer who likes to have a viewfinder. The things I like about it is the speed of operation, the simplicity, the excellent rear screen, the ability to use L mount lenses, the look of the silver version (with those silver lenses), and the new "operating system" (or whatever you want to call it). Oh, and I like that the body of it is one piece of aluminum, making it feel like a really high-quality camera. It does indeed look like a camera from the future, rather than a camera from the past (and cameras from the past seems to be what many camera companies have been making lately). I wonder if other camera companies will follow suit, and start to make more modern-looking cameras now.
