Obama's eulogy to this masterpiece of a human being also made me weep. McCaine was such an inspirational American and it's clear he understood that America's greatest strength is that We Are a Civil Society. A human life is so short, it is a miracle I got to be here while he was.

Sat semi close to him at an MLB Dbacks base game 2014 in Phoenix. Nervous to approach, to not interrupt him . Both He and his wife had about 4 stadium security, not police. Mid 7th stretch. Finally I thought, maybe...I truly had been researching Vietnam for community college. I'm no journalist, Told him that. He told me to take a seat, and we talked about it 3-4 minutes until his wife was back, after a restroom visit. I knew to get up, but he thanked ME for my interest in learning about the war, because it carried on the memory of those who died by having class in school...He shook my hand, took pic w me on my Iphone from one of the security guys. Great life moment for me. I still have the photo.

I knew In 2008 he was a true patriot. After watching this I question how someone could not vote for this man. He was one of the few politicians that would openly reach across the isle. A true gem of our country

It really doesn't matter where you come from or how poor or rich you where while growing up, what truly matters in life is standing for what's right when the time calls for it! And John McCain did that more than once what an amazing human being! RIP John McCain!🙏🙏
