Very true indeed! My grandparents taught me that at a very young age. They would always say, "Poor people can't afford to buy cheap stuff." As I got older, and asked what does that really mean and they said "if you're poor, you can't afford poor quality things because you'll end spending more money" and to this day all of their furniture and a few appliances are still in their house.
