Lyrics

Don't talk to me, I don't believe a word
Don't try to make me feel alright
All the love in all the world
Is not enough to save my soul tonight

Don't be my friend, I'm not a fool
Don't talk of things that we cannot see
When all the ones that sing the blues
Sometimes I think of how it used to be

I have seen the Devil laugh
I have seen God turn His face away
I have nothing left to lose
I have nothing left to say

I have seen the sky turn black
I have seen the seas run dry
I have nothing that is yours
I have nothing now that is not mine

Don't look at me, your eyes are cold and hard
Don't wonder that I turn to you
All the grief in all the world
Is not enough to make me comfort you

Don't tell me lies, I'm not a dog
Don't talk of love, it seems to me
All the people that we rob
Sometimes I think of how they used me

I have seen the fires of Hell
I have seen Angels with flaming swords
I have nothing that is mine
That I have much that could be yours

I have seen the eye of God (Silence)
I have heard lies that are true (Don't believe a word)
I have nothing for myself (Silence)
I have nothing I would give to you (Don't believe a word)

Don't say that word, I know it's only fools
Who do not know their fate is just
All the justice in the world
Is not enough to buy my faith and trust

Don't make that face, I won't be pleased
Don't make a sideshow of yourself
All the people we released
Sometimes I think you're someone else

I have been where none have been (Silence)
In the empty howling rooms (Don't believe a word)
I have everything I need (Silence)
I have everything you stand to lose

I have seen the diamond worlds (Silence)
I have seen the shape of space (Don't believe a word)
I have nothing but the world (Silence)
I have nothing to take its place (Don't believe a word)

I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word
I don't believe a word

This is one of my favorite Motorhead songs. The lyrics are so powerful if you've ever been burned badly by someone else.

If I had to describe the concept of a “rock star” in 10 words or less: “Lemmy Kilmister.”
RIP. You, sir, are truly missed.😢

This song helped me get over a divorce, a suicide attempt, and the death of both of my parents and that's just a start. To the band, thank you. Rest in peace my friend.

Recently became a huge Motörhead fan. I am sad that I will never get to see Lemmy live. He was unique. Great voice, great lyrics! And proud to have a swede behind the drum set. 🙂👍

Талант, это инертное значение. Куда направлен - вот тут уже другое... Но некоторые песни просто от Бога! Может и зачлось ему.

"don't tell me lies, I'M NOT A DOG!" the way his voice changes, gives that line so much anger and emotion, makes the hair stand on my neck! R. I. P Lemmy 🤘

Lemmy in a tie, clean shaven and with sunglasses looks like a more badass Roy Orbison. The band was just too damn cool. Thank you Motorhead for all the years of fun music!

that's what I love about this channel. it does what a proper official channel should do - uploads actually restored and properly digitized old videos in full HD, not in pathetic 480p in the 21st century. thank you for a great job, guys!

This has got to be one of Motorheads angriest songs. They made Lemmy dangerous when they let him have a microphone. This man was like a walking revolution. Thanks for the good music.

I love the original three but also this version of Motörhead. Mickey Dee is phenomenal.
