I just bought the Kqi 2 Pro based an all the research I've done, and for the money it's really worth it; until I saw the release of this product today.

I looked into both the KQI 2 PRO and this (KQI 100P);

it looks like the main differences are;
-overall mileage (kqi 2 pro is a tad bit longer in terms of longer mileage)
-Kqi 100p can accomodate heavier people (up to 265lbs vs 220lbs on the kqi 2 pro)
-kqi 100p has front suspension (although some users have said that it's kind of negligent since the kqi 2 pro has 10" tires)
-dashboard display (LED on the kqi 2 pro vs LCD on the kqi 100P)
-waterproof rating (IPX 5 on the kqi 2 pro, allegedly better on paper, rather than the IP54 rating on the kqi 100P)
-charge time of 5-6 on the kqi 100P vs 7 hours on the kqi 2 pro (most likely because of the smaller battery)
-cruise control (no cruise control on the kqi 100p; the kqi 2 pro has it)

everything else is the same, if not, has very small/ negligible difference;
-dimensions
-weight
-max speed
-headlight (adjustable on kqi 2 pro)
-15% hill climb


NOW FOR THE QUESTION;

-IS THE KQI 2 PRO (currently on sale for $449) still a better buy than the KQI 100P (currently at $349)?

-DOES THE DIFFERENCES JUSTIFY STILL PAYING THE $100 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO E-SCOOTERS?

Got this scooter it’s perfect it off roads great and it daily drives great it’s the best bang for your buck 10/10 would recommend niu is the Toyota of the scooter world

Can you do a review of e-scooters with removable batteries? Colleges have rules against e-scooters that have lithium ion batteries. They may allow e-scooters that have removable batteries, so they can charge the battery separately outside.

I love Niu. Their scooters are 48 volt powered (not 36v).

As always this is a great review. This is impressive, and it costs less than half of I paid for my first scooter. (Segway G40LS) Plus it has front suspension. This is definitely a scooter I would recommend for a first time buyer. I do wish that the range was a little better, but for this price, I can't really complain.

Those exposed axle nuts are great to see, is this the first Niu scooter you can remove the wheel without a heat gun? Also, maybe a hot take, but I don't think tubed tires on a slow scooter like this are a big deal. Just patch/replace and no fiddling with tubeless hubs in the event of an un-slimeable puncture

Great review! Picked this up at Kohls on a Black Friday deal for $250 (bought 2 and used Kohls cash my wife had, and received $50 Kohls cash for each!). One point on top speed - in sport mode I hit 29 mph, and I weigh 220 lbs. It's pretty impressive for the price! No issues going uphill or braking.

I purchased this scooter based on the review After riding it for 2 days, here's my observation.... It's a good price for a scooter with front suspension. It has strong performance in sport mode. However, the ergonomic is horrible. The handle bar is too high coupled with the 75% rake, as a result, the handlebar is too close to the rider's chest and you have to stand way back on the deck. The riding position feels cramped because the handlebar is too tall and angled way too much into the rider's chest. This was mentioned in the ESG review on Youtube.... The deck is a bit too short and too narrow for comfortable footing. I wish the deck was a bit longer and wider. Overall, I am not happy with this scooter purchase. The price is cheap, the front suspension is really nice, but the ergonomic ruined it for me.

I Ordered the Kqi 100p and received a non functional unit. By the time I returned it etc. It was on sale for $249.98! It took some time and hassle but if it pans out I should have a new replacement scooter and a $100 refund to match the current price. I was pretty rough on NIU so I'm looking forward to getting a working unit at a ridiculous price and changing my tune concerning NIU. The scooter has been shipped and I've received confirmation stating I'll get the refund, which hasn't hit my bank yet, so we'll see.

I'm thinking because it is for beginners the rake keeps you in a safer place for braking for less experienced rider.
