I thought, yeah that's a good idea. It's one of the absolute best classic anime OP, anime boomers will remember it.
Then the sadness flooded back... memories from the anime. And I thought, yes, this is the purpose of music.

This opening is clearly made for your arranging and playing style, the Rach-like LH arpeggios and the repeated LH chords in the last chorus give to the cover that romantic (well, post-romantic actually but let's say it works the same lol) and grandiose yet heart-wrenching feeling. That remake was a good idea, it sounds even better than the first one!

I LOVE the changes you make to your original arrangment.
Like, from 3:20 until the end there's tons of variations on the main theme which are pretty damn entertaining to listen to.

This cover makes me so sad and I want to cry even if I haven't watched the anime. It feels as if the whole story is embodied in the piece. This could almost pass as a classical romantic piece.

Over ten years ago (I was about 12 years old) I stumbled upon your channel and downloaded your transcription of Lilium but I was too bad to learn it at that time.
