Galactic Civil War Update 1.1 - Star Wars Galaxies Restoration

Tell the greatest story the galaxy has ever known: Yours.

Update features:
- Custom planetary control mechanics are in place for Senior Officers with a focus on Base Busting. Officers now assign themselves regions to defend and are demoted upon losing control of the area.
- Smuggler has doubled down as a running and gunning profession with more damage and fewer penalties for being on the move. The balance pass also includes increased rewards for Smuggler Missions.
- Completely reworked combat system with emphasis on locomotion and states.
- Across from the Bestine Museum, the Humanities Society Menagerie has opened. For an entrance fee, players can now bid on new high end custom artwork.
- Over 100 fixes and tweaks improving base gameplay.

Been having a great time on this server for about a year, casually playing the various endgame opportunities. Its a fun server and active enough for me to have fun with other players doing various group activities or getting help with space ace missions. The 5x xp rate is great for allowing you try a lot of different builds without the massive grinds too.

This video got me back to SWG, tried Restoration, and it is really good and fun. More fun than my prew emu imo. CU with quests but keeping the 32 professions is such a good idea. Congrats guys.

No wonder that this game has such a strong community. This is the best MMORPG i ever played. I still have many conversations with a friend about it. I always hoped somone would bring it back in a new graphic engine...just the same gameplay. SWTOR never reached that level of being an MMORPG like SWG was for me...
