I'm a woman, and this was me too. Then, once I got into my 40's, I hardly dated because I wasn't going to waste my time with men that I knew weren't quality. Did a lot of spiritual and emotional healing work on myself and then at 46, met a man who worked at the same airport and we became friends. We were just organic and eventually started dating. I let him know I was not interested in getting married...and then a year in, he asked to marry me. Shock of my life! After thinking about it for a couple of months, it finally hit me that I wanted to do marriage with him, and we are celebrating our 9th anniversary this month. And BTW, he knew of all the family sexual abuse from my childhood so he had a deep understanding of my aversion to the institution. He is my rock and I love and adore him.

Exactly, many many lose themselves in marriage....like me, I have been miserable for 38 years....trapped is the word.

Just for reality sake….if you grow as a person…your 💯 is never 💯. Nothing is. If you evolve…your statement will become stale and irrelevant.
