I really love my Prologue. It's a very comfy car to drive. I found it more comfy than Tesla. I have no regrets, other than the network. Going out on a roadtrip was difficult. We found cut cables, charger communication issues, and very slow charges for some reason. For 98% of the time it's a local car, so no worries there. I still haven't driven my gas car yet, that's for the next road trip. And no, I didn't buy the Prologue, I leased it. I just don't think one should purchase an EV just yet.

What we really need, which I'm starting to see more in western Canada, is gas stations putting in EV chargers. They're already in the right places, and have bathrooms, snack, and "car stuff" like windshield cleaners.

Just add some fast charger stalls, use the same payment system (no stupid apps), and adapt with the times for the betterment of all

Sadly i actually road trip every month, basically, on a packed schedule, so EVs still aren't for me. But better charging or just massively bigger batteries will get me there, and i can't wait!

(And yeah hopefully some EVs still have android auto once we're there 🙃)

Since GM got Tesla Supercharger access today I wonder if these can.

I wonder how many of these chargers are down due to vandalism. Since so many of them are located in remote areas of shopping center parking lots, it seems that it would be difficult to prevent unwanted tampering. I would love to see more charging stations adopt the gas station model of having attendants and convenience stores. I feel like that would help prevent vandalism and keep users from accidentally breaking chargers due to not knowing how to properly use them.

Saw this car while CRV shopping. Really good looking car. I kept my 19 Camry tho, for now.

The dashboard in the Blazer EV looks better. The screens are better integrated and it's less chopped up looking.

Can you check if it will charge on Tesla superchargers as a GM vehicle since it’s a GM vehicle under the skin and Tesla activated GM on the Tesla network today.

Back in May, my wife and I test drove the Prologue Touring. We were planning to replace our Pilot Touring, with the Prologue Elite. The Prologue is a suitable replacement for the Pilot but not at $60K and up. So we decided to explore the used market and purchased a 2022 BMW iX M50 with under 8K miles, instead. It was cheaper than the Prologue Elite and we got a lot more for our money... Viva La Depreciation.

The title seems unfair as the issue with charging is an issue any non tesla would have had in Southern California and who knows what the Tesla charging situation is in that area. They have a lot of Teslas down there. Also GM just got the ability to charge using Tesla chargers and that’s not mentioned in the videos and they should have know it was on the horizon. I’ve test driven this car in the top trip and an AWD Blazer EV. I prefer the Prologue. If you can get a good lease deal on it would be a very nice starter EV as it is very normal. It has normal car looks, normal door handles and nice buttons and switches. The infotainment doesn’t look as cool as the one in the Blazer EV but it has wireless Apple CarPlay and some may prefer the way it is designed. The instrument cluster is very nice and configurable. You can easily put the map in there with a press of the button. If you get the top trim of the Prologue you get everything Honda offers in the Prologue, nice and simple. Not so with the Blazers where you really need to do an investigation to figure out what each car gets. Honda enthusiasts are hard on this car because it’s a GM but my worry with buying this is more with Honda than GM. They are obviously not all in with EVs and I’d worry about long term maintenance as I’m not sure how long Honda will offer this car. Oh, and this is a big car, so that might appeal to some. It’s unusually large for an EV in the price point.

The Tesla Supercharger network is open to GM vehicles as of 9/18. All you need is the NACS adapter (doesn't have to be GM specific) and the Tesla app.

I think it better than Model Y in term of looks and better privacy. It based on GM platform meaning you don’t need to worry about anything hit the bottom of the car and it going to cause the damaging to the battery pack. Also repairable battery pack is one of the big plus, no 200KW power distribution module under the seat. It got power switch no need to plug in all the time. (Less phantom drain) Screen locks no problem just cycle the power switch and it gone. I think it important to be able to manually reset the software. One of the most important things is it does not spy on you. As soon as power switch is off all cameras are off.
Not sure about the charging, I had been going to LA so many times and never had problem. The only time I had problem is during the holiday there is no way to get the charger without waiting in line during holiday.

The issues with not having enough chargers in Southern California is well chronicled and not necessarily the fault of the vehicle.

Last week, Me and my wife shopped various manufacturers for similar EV’s. We test drove the Honda Prologue and we loved the vehicle, but there were so many quality issues we had to pass. We ended up going with the Mach-e and couldn’t be happier. Paired with the ability to charge at Tesla chargers, it was hard to pass.

I’ve seen a few Prologues driving around my area in Ohio and I like the styling and size (very wide rear). Saw a blacked out Prologue last night on the road and loved it. ❤

I would say the Honda is the best looking between the Chevrolet, Cadillac, Acura, and Honda

Out on the East coast of Canada in the largest city East of Montreal we still only have 1 DC fast charger in the city that is available, and the next closest is about 100km away. Public AC charging is also mostly nonexistent. The fact you had multiple DC fast chargers within 9 miles astounds me, we are only now getting additional chargers built and even that is only in one city. We are so far behind.

As much as I love EVs, they're still limited by the charging network.

Well done you three that was crazy. Alex so phenomenal sir. ❤. Nate this is exactly why you need to come back home. Immediately The charging stations are dangerous. Especially in the winter ❄️.
