I was in attendance at Convention Hall in Philly and Wilt's 76ers were playing the S.F. Warriors. There was a play where big Nate Thurmond went up for a layup and Wilt blocked the shot and the ball went to Tom Meschery at the foul line. Meschery shot a jump shot from there and Wilt blocked that too. The ball went to a 76er who started out on a fast break. Coming down from the right side was Wilt who got the ball and did a windmill slam dunk. The crowd went nuts!

What makes it crazy is only 2% of wilt chamberlains playing is on film. So imagine what his highlights would be if all his games were caught on film

The most dominant player in NBA history!!!! 63 years later he STILL has basketball's most unbreakable record, 100 points in a game!!!!

Apples to apples, in his prime Wilt would be unbeatable one on one. GOAT

You forgot a *huge* defensive one. The time when Wilt blocked Kareem's skyhook TWICE on the same possession.

It’s well documented that there was no film record of his 100 point game in Hershey PA.

and what really shows Chamberlains great sportmanship and skill: he stopped scoring and wanted the record for the most assist in a season, and was the best passer by a long shot in those seasons & ERA.

#9 was a great play. Wilt normally stayed under the basket on defense but the Bulls had a non-scorer playing center and Norm Van Lear andd Bob Weiss had been targeting the Laker's worst defensive player (Gail Goodrich) all series for about 50 points per game so Wilt came out to the freethrow line and not only blocked the shot but made the outlet pass to win the game and the series.

Editing the radio call from his 100 point game (for which no video footage exists) onto other footage is sketchy.

people who try to discredit wilt today are being intellectually dishonest imo. he had good competition. at the very least, a wilt today would be among the best in the league i would say. if not dominant. how he moves and what he does in that time period, and the condition he kept himself in, he obviously had the drive and the will to be great. looks like he's routinely get a block a steal and an assist in one swoop, you have to combine the drive with the talent to do that, and rack up all the stats he did. be honest with yourselves folks

33 straight games. Mic drop. Wilt would dominate today’s game as a point center.
