God Mode on Windows #shorts

Enter GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} in a new folder to get access to "God Mode" on Windows 7, 8, 10, & 11.

"godmode", very creative. It's actually called AllTasks and is part of the control panel. Actually creating a folder with that name has been reported to cause random crashes on the explorer. What you should do is create a shortcut to:
%WinDir%\explorer.exe

instead.

That's actually just a reference to a registry key and the first part can be any file name you like... like "I pissed my pants on live will work exactly the same. You just need a filename and the key as an extension. "Super Control Panel" might be a better name than GodMode.
Still, I didn't know about that key, so thanks. I did know about others, that's why I recognised it for what it was (reference to the registry) straight away.
That's going to simplify things a little for me and anyone in deep level support that needs to work on broken Windows PC's (that means all of em... LOL).

Oh man, I remember when Windows 7 was fresh and new and I first saw an article about this. I was in middle or high school at the time and realized immediately I would not know what to do with it so I never tried it, but im glad to know it still exists lol.

Well it's neither an easter egg nor a hidden feature, it's just an interface that lets you view *all* Control Panel settings in one simple and convenient view. It's hidden cause most people are already used to the good ol' Control Panel UI since Windows Vista.

I’ve seen this before, it’s the GUID for “all settings” there’s a list of similar GUIDs you can search for
