This is the second Jack Hylton version of "Ich küsse Ihre Hand, Madame" / "I kiss your hand, madame". This foxtrot version was recorded in London in february 1929. Unfortunately the record is in rather bad condition....

The video is similar to the previous but shows images of the "Roaring Twenties" from the USA...

This record was recorded with an Ortofon Om78cartridge and stylus in order to get an acceptable 78rpm playback. The equalization and restoration was done as truthfully as possible

A very clear transcription indeed. Remarkable sound quality through my modest laptop and Sennheiser headphones. A lovely vocal contribution from Sam Browne, my favourite dance band vocalist along with Al Bowlly.

@formiggini Es freut mich, dass diese Aufnahme so gut gefallen hat! Es handelt sich bei dem Duo jedoch nicht um Tauber und Dietrich sondern um Pierre Alcover und Brigitte Helm in dem Stummfilm "L'argent".... Zu dieser Zeit sah Frau Dietrich etwas fülliger aus...
