Andrew & Thomas, Thanks so much for making such a great video about setup and safety. I am always stoked to see such helpful videos from a manufacturer that aren't just focused on selling a specific product, but rather helping your customers and potential customers grow in their craft!

For monitoring from a follow-car I usually feed the mix into the camera and monitor from playback. Let the camera crew deal with wireless signals )))

Depending on camera angles, if you're shooting talent sitting in the back seat, you might be able to get a garment hanger rod that connects between the two handles in the back and mount mics there, pointing down at the talent. Make sure you put mics where your talent is going to be facing, including where their head turns during their performance. If they turn their head away from the mic to face a window or something, that can really impact the recording. If you have your choice of vehicle and/or it doesn't matter, check out how loud the car interior is when it's on the road - check your route during your expected shoot time for traffic noise, construction noise, etc. Maybe you want that in the shot, but you can't control it if you do - probably better to insert that stuff in post.

I would love to see that guy ending up in the trunk eventually. "Never go into the trunk! Absolutely no!" *Next scene* "Dang it!" 😂

I'd like to see an episode about cutting audio for a 2 person conversation in post. It takes me a long time to cut audio from the mic that isn't the primary speaker at the moment, and id love to know how pros move in that environment. I mostly edit in Resolve now so that would be helpful to see. Thanks!

Question. Where can I get the microphone mount you all have in the front seat? And also how do you mount it to the cupholder it looks like? Would be great to know both of these things. Thank you!
