As a very long time AiC fan, I think he's doing a good job and doing justice to their music. It's easy for people to hate on a replacement like him, but people really need to give them a chance before passing judgement. Alice in Chains has so much iconic and timeless music, so I have to give him a lot of credit for stepping in to those large shoes.

My friend was getting his signed by Layne and told Layne " My name is Mark but everybody calls me skid" Layne signs the poster " To skidmark"....Good times in 1991!!

Seen them live recently. Layne passed when I was a toddler, nobody can replace him but Duvall impressed me. It was almost surreal.

Nobody can duplicate Layne's Soul Scraping Scream. He wasn't just singing ABOUT...He WAS about what he was singing... But ...I've seen AIC a couple of times with William, and it's a great show. Authentic, Tight, Rock, through and through.
