This is my mom and I want to be just like her! I watched her my whole life but have never felt so far away from being like her! I feel stuck and I don’t know how to do anything else! Just stuck! My mom had a prayer room when I was little and no one was allowed in there unless it was Christmas or something really special like my baby shower unless they were praying. I always went in that room with her and we listened to gospel albums and prayed on our knees. It was always the two of us in there together. I was doing what she was doing. She would let me listen to “He’s still working on me” by The Carpenters over and over again . She didn’t care what song was playing even after the 100th time she only cared what we were doing in there which was spending time with God and praying. I loved that room as it was so peaceful. Parents take note, your children are watching you and following your lead even when we don’t realize. I’m 50 and I remember every detail about the times we spent in her prayer room! My mom has faith that can move mountains and has! I just can’t get there. I’m honored that my mom is chosen as many are called but few are chosen! I’ll find my path eventually. Right when I think I’m on my way the devil knocks me off but my moms feet are cemented in her path and no matter how hard Satan has tried he can’t knock her down without her getting right back up! I admire my mom most in the world and thank God for her! ❤❤❤

I've been walking alone for a few years and I never understood why. I go to church but I have no one there that I can truly call a friend. I shared in Bible study I was going through something and not one person reached out but they reached out to others. Within weeks of that happening I felt free suddenly. I been alone most of my life, feeling no one understand my pain of childhood abandonment. I backslid when I was a teen. I came back to God after 15-17 years. After my spouse passed away 4 years ago. I was again. I turned back to God again. I got my license, drove for 2 years cross country by myself. I worship the whole time, cried every minute for 4 years feeling broken. I love the Lord and now He loves me and helps me with perseverance and patience. No matter how much people criticize me I kept seeking God. I’m still alone now, I have 2-3 Godly friends that I talk to time to time. But I seek Him now. I learned a lot about His presence and His grace. ❤❤❤
