Join me in making these super easy french apple tarts. They are flakey, creamy, and delicious!
Pastry Cream Recipe:
Milk: 150g or 1/2 cup
Cream: 100g or 1/3 cup
Sugar: 60g or 1/3 cup
Egg yolks: 50g or 3 large
Cornstarch: 20g or 2 1/2 tablespoons
1 Vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
What Else You Will Need:
1 Pack of frozen puff pastry dough
2 Apples (crunchy variety)
Peach or apricot preserves
Sheet tray
Parchment paper
