No, Jeanette McCurdy didn’t return because she never wanted to be an actor in the first place. Dan Schneider isn’t even part of the new iCarly so that doesn’t make any damn sense. If you were to read Jeanette McCurdy’s book, you know this.
That and the show was not canceled because of ratings or because of Dan Schneider. The show was canceled because of the writers strike and actors strike last year

I'm not justifying Dan Schnieder's creepy behavior, but what I am saying here is that the pay was so good, that for some, it was worth putting aside the creepy antics, for that big pay-check.

I know women are more sensitive to this, but you ask any man - if you were making over 100, 000$ an episode, what're you willing to show, and what you're willing to subjugate yourself to, and most men would show most of, if not all of their body, and would subjugate themselves to the most asinine of antics for a paycheck that big.

1 season of that, is "I don't have to work again a day in my life" size money.

I remember watching this with my daughter. I bought all the seasons/ dvds and I had no idea it made a comeback. Also I didn’t know so much transpired w/ MCosgrove. The show was a bonding staple in my daughter’s childhood and in our relationship. It’s my hope that MC knows the impact she had on her fans. Some of the best times in my life/ my favorite memories are of me holding my little girl and laughing with her at ICarly. I’m so thankful for the work MC put in resulting in a great show and priceless moments with my baby girl. I hope MC finds massive success in her future endeavors.

I’m so upset they pulled the plug on the reboot series of iCarly. Miranda had just recently got back in acting after being on a hiatus as she attended school at USC. She was my favorite Nickelodeon star and hope she continues to pursue doing more films and tv series.

I think she will have a huge comeback in her later years. She might surprise us later on hopefully she keeps working and understand she one big role away from being a pedro pascal type actor.
