The Patriarchy has become a powerful feminist watchword for the unequal division of power between men and women. In some fields, though, the tables have turned, with women a third more likey to go to university, three quarters of teachers being women, and the courts predominantly giving women custody of children. Should we be demanding equality for men in these areas? Or are the arenas where equality is a mistaken gaol and women should have the upper hand?

Phillip Blond: Phillip Blond is an English political philosopher, Anglican theologian, and director of the ResPublica think tank. He is the author of Red Tory (2010) which sought to redefine the centre ground of British politics around the ideas of civil association, mutual ownership and shared enterprise.

Having a child is a CHOICE. And with every choice, there are benefits and costs. It's not men oppressing women into having children. They are choosing to themselves. That is not my problem.

Women outperform men in university? Sure, an A grade in "women's studies" beats a B grade in engineering. An A grade in psychology beats a B grade in chemistry or physics. Lying to the world is bad. Lying to yourself is worse.

Just as anyone who makes a choice. If a man chose to take a year off to be a ski bum...do you believe he would be given anything special because he's a man? Yet, if women choose the same, they should get right back on the corporate ladder in the exact place they were. Nonsense. If it applies to men, it applies to women. It's time to end this propaganda.

Equality can only be achieved if:

More women become truck drivers
More women do the construction, garbage, wastewater, and sewerage treatment jobs.
More women join commercial fishing and manning bulk and container carriers and oil/gas tankers.
More women work in offshore oil rigs and oil plants and refineries like welders, pipe fitters, toolpushers, etc.
Male models should be paid similar to female models
Japanese and S. Korean electronics and Semicon assembly companies stop "we hire only women" (not many people know this)
More men do office and bank jobs like tellers, executive assistants, and secretaries.
More women should create businesses like Jeff Bezos, Bill gates, Mark Z, Larry Page, etc did, (so women can't complain why there are more male executives)
More men do personal care services like massage, spa, nail care, hair care, skincare, etc.
More men do the hospitality, hotel, and travel industries.
More men become teachers, caregivers, and nurses
More housing for abused men than the current status.
The same penalty for a rape suspect and false rape accuser.
The same penalty for both gender in the same felony charges

Let's talk about equality and other additional lists once the above things are settled.

just to point out male population is larger than female, male population work for longer as the retirement ages are different, men tend to work on more dangerous jobs leading to danger and high risk pay. these three simple facts mainly the first two are why u can not measure a wage gap cause if u were to do this in science it would be an unfair test, so why do we humour it now?

This chick sitting next to him is wrong, women over 30 with degrees do make more wages than men in certain fields/industries, I’ve actually been told by a former female coworker in the past that she made more of a salary than I did, thing is her degree wasn’t as advanced and she didn’t go to college as long as I did, so it is true many women earn more than males, feminism has elevated women above men as though men are to be looked down on by females... not good it’s toxic

It is not a pay gap it is an earnings gap. Anyone who believes women today are paid less for the same job are out of their minds. Every major western country has had equal pay for equal work laws on the books for DECADES.
