can you please help, i have ben trying to install spark on windows for jupyter notebook, your video was simple, but couldnt get it installed after the spark-check command. Its so disappointing when i learnt that i still need to install JAVA jdk and scala which you never mentioned.
im yet to install scala, but with JAVA jdk im still getting an error message ['spark-shell' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.]
please what do you think i can do at this moment? do you think installing scala will help? how will it look like in the environment set up with scala and java jdk? please help

hi .. i have installed python and pycharm and trying to install pyspark in windows 10.. but am facing issue.. when i execute spark-shell command am getting error invalid syntax.. i have set environment variable and added spark -home path as well.

can you please tell me what are the pre-requisites to install python with pyspark..
is hadoop is mandatory to install pyspark ?

But for to setup spark environment Hadoop is not mandatory, any way I have installed Hadoop 3.1.4 which is present in Bigdata folder name in C - Drive while I have installed Spark2. 4.7 in Spark folder name which is also in C-Drive.
