Best Deodorants For Men

In this part of my Men’s Grooming Essentials series, I want to talk about the best men's deodorants and antiperspirants.

Did you know that your armpits can become immune to the ingredients in your deodorant over time and make them less effective? If you want to avoid having stinky and/or sweaty armpits, you, ideally, want to change your deodorant brand every 6 months. So if you’ve been using the same deodorant for the last couple of years, then it’s definitely time to switch it up and use one of the best men's deodorants out there.

For heavy sweaters or people with hyperhidrosis, get botox injections on your armpits. It's expensive in US, but you can get it done in Mexico for very cheap. Good idea to get it done if you're in the area for a vacation. My ex used to get it done and she swears that it's a life saver.

The dove deodorant is amazing and smells pretty good and is a light smell which means it's going to fade away really quickly

Excellent video! But you should've said that if you are going to use an antiperspirant, it's best to use it overnight, because aluminum needs quite some time to penetrate the skin and block the pores.

For guys that sweat a lot, there are plenty of new Antiperspirants out there that have different ingredients in them that don't leave the "yellow" stain on your shirts. Plus, some of them also offer 48-72 hours worth of odor protection also! I play a lot of golf and used to have to toss out golf shirts because of the yellow stains. No longer have to do that anymore. When I am not playing golf or doing outdoor activities, I just use the natural Crystal....have been since my late father told me about it in the late 1990's.

Old Spice sticks not the blue ones the white ones that are both antiperspirant and deodorant..been using them for years and feel the same as the first time

if you really want to not stink when you sweat, stop eating meat. Not only will you not stink but you will almost eliminate your chances of getting cancer and Alzheimer's and many other bacterial infections. Oh I almost forgot, if you stop eating meat, not only will your aches and pains from aging disappear but your recovery time of your muscles from working out will be cut in half . Also one other thing I noticed from cutting meat out of my diet, I'm constantly happy and I love working out now. But go ahead and just switch deodorants to smell better and cover what the real problem is.

I used to use Silver Protect made by NIVEA. But as I can't buy some of it where I'm living in now, for me, recently, it's Old Spice Whitewater. If possible try to use deodorants that contain Ag+ because silver ions are really what kills bacterias and thus, bad odors. The same recommandation applies to toothpaste, by the way.

I've been using just good old fashioned Mennen Speed Stick my whole life and its always worked.☺ Also diet can play a part with your BO as well.

"The active ingredient is aluminum ..." The active ingredients in antiperspirants are aluminium chlorohydrates, NOT aluminum. Saying aluminum is the active ingredient is like saying sodium chloride (white, nontoxic, table salt) is the same as sodium (a highly explosive, reactive, flammable, etc. silvery metal).
