Going into the release of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," much of the hype surrounding the film had involved speculation about various cameos from characters throughout the Marvel multiverse. While not all the rumors turned out to be true, there were definitely enough long-awaited cameos to make any Marvel fan say, "Excelsior!" As a chance to further expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe into an even bigger multiverse, the cameos are generally enjoyable but something of a mixed bag. Some are set ups for future movies, some are basically gags, and some are actually pretty satisfying. This is every major cameo from "Doctor Strange 2" ranked. Spoilers ahead.

Captain marvel wasn't just taken out and crushed by a statue. Scarlet Witch absorbed her power just like Agatha Harkness tried to do to Wanda in wandavision, just before the crush, you can see her using so much energy against Wanda that her mask goes away, that's how Wanda wins. Absorbs her power then crushes her.

These cameos were such a beautiful nod to us the fans. Where the MCU goes from here has so many possibilities. The closer universes close to 616 are similar then as we go further the similarities change. IM

My faves were: Clea, Mr. Fantastic (John Krasinski looks the part), Prof. X, and Capt. Carter (who indeed had the most violent passing in the movie).

My personal favorite cameos were Captain Carter and Mr. Fantastic. Professor X was great, but a little too short, and I’m not the biggest fan of Black Bolt and Captain Marvel, so neither of them got me super excited, but Peggy and Reed were awesome to see imo. I hope it’s not the last of them

The next Fantasty 4 movie should def have John in it and is the 616 verison. Then end it with a visit from Doctor Strange needing his help for something. That would be fantastic!!! If that happens it ties back to this movie and everything makes sense. Doctor strange go to find the 616 counter part of the illuminate and forms it.
