I have a hobby I have put off indefinitely because I’d gone through depression last year and wanted some time off to recover. I still keep my hobby-related items past 90 days... I will make an exception for this because I know when I come back to my hobby, I need my things to be familiar to me...

I am a new minimalist and I finally got my wardrobe down to three drawers that can easily open and close. I have t2 items I wear fall and winter and I really really love them. I have under ten shirts for spring and summer, and 4 pairs of jeans and two pants, and 3 leggings. Because of the job I do I can't wear the same color cloths and type of cloths all year, like I can't wear gray t shirts all year long. I now only allow myself to spend $40 a year on cloths and I just use birthday and holiday gift cards for any essential needs for hygiene, under wear and any shoes I may need. I have 4 gift cards in my wallet that I have had for a year and haven't used and probably won't use them until another year. I told my family to only give me gift cards for cloths and health, and cash only for my birthday and holidays.

Love the humor in your videos. It actually assists you in making your points. Well done. Tossing packaging is now on my list to do today. 👍🏻

Thank you for your videos. I recently threw out my old cell phone boxes I've been holding onto and am now doing the 30 day challenge to declutter my life😊

*** Make sure you don’t do this with seasonal items. Short sleeve shirts seem silly in the winter, puffy jackets seem silly in the summer. I also agree with your packaging idea. I always keep my boxes off my current electronics, but I used to have a bin of boxes. What a waste.

The comments about packaging were enlightening and make a lot of sense. As a result I will be decluttering my packaging!

I don't know how I have not found your channel this whole time. New sub because of this video. Thank you for making videos like this I do crafts so everything is just in case items. 😂

I recently let go of so many clothes in my closet that I often struggle to find shirts to wear. But I’m not complaining in the slightest, in fact I am content with what I own because I feel closer to each piece. Great video as always!

great video as always! clean transition and edits. indeed the 90/90 rule is a great guideline to follow when in doubt about certain items to declutter.

you should do a room tour of a minimalist next!

Do not put boxes in the rubbish /
garbage bin. Recycle cardboard
in the cardboard collection. I have
let go of the shower mat in front
of my shower. The tiled floor is
beautiful. A corner tile was replaced years back - but I learnt
that is just Wabi Sabi. This I
learnt from you CK Space. I
even bought a book on Wabi
Sabi the other day, which I surely
will read. So thanks to you and
Wabi Sabi.

Thanks for this video. I've really been enjoying your content. I love clearing packaging as soon as I purchase an item, however, I have found that when I upgrade and sell my old phone etc.it is easier to sell and sells for a higher price if I have the original packaging.

Omg lol I totally keep boxes after I buy an item (sometimes I will even keep the bag bcuz I like to re-use them, if I ever need to give someone stuff and they need a bag to carry it in)....sometimes I keep it "just in case" there's something wrong with the product. That way I can return it. I bought a kettle maybe 3 0r 4 months ago and the box is still sitting on top of my washer&dryer. I also have box from a thermos my mom bought me from Japan 2 yrs ago! I have no idea why I'm hanging on to it!?! Lol. This video was very helpful. I will be throwing away those I will do it right after this comment lol

I hadn’t played my original Nintendo for 15 years and then one day I set it up and could not stop playing it. It took me back to my childhood playing those games again, and I remembered all the moves and it was like I had just played it the day before. So glad I kept it so I could revisit my past in a way. However, I threw out a bowl of chili from the fridge I cooked a week before.

Nice video! Just watched through your minimalism series and I'm tempted to try the 30 day minimalism game now. I've recently purged a lot of stuff as well moving to a smaller apartment, but I definitely have more stuff to get rid of. Just sold 10+ bottles of perfume last week so those are my latest decluttered stuff.
