It's sad that water wars are now more than a squirt gun fight...

If we duke it out over worthless things like oil, I dread to imagine what we will do when something as precious as water becomes scarce.

The scale of the Ethiopia dam project isn't really touched on here. Egypt relies on The Nile for 90% of its water. 95 million people live in The Nile Delta alone and that figure is predicted to double in the next 50 years. If Ethiopia and Egypt cannot reach an agreement then millions and millions of people may die. The project is due to be completed in a few years.

The solution is birth control! I just learned of someone that has 8 children, that’s just disgusting! I think everyone should be limited to this one to two children. Birth control is the answer to all natural disasters looming. Stop having many kids, you aren’t cockroaches. And it’s sad that it’s usually only poor people that have nine kids per family, and when they move to more prosperous countries, they take the disgusting habit of having so many children to these countries and start putting a stress on their societies and resources. Stop having so many kids!!! Stop it, basta!!!

Central America is not going to suffer water scarcity. This is a misreading of the effects of climate change. Climate change will displace people in Central America, but this is more likely due to Hurricanes or other events like this instead of water scarcity, as this part of the world is known to have dense wet forests that won't run dry anytime soon.
Please be more thorough in differentiating between factors and correctly identifying them.

this may sound cold but we don't have a water problem, we have an overpopulation problem, which is the root cause of all crisis we're facing
