I was introduced to this music in 1972 in Kumasi by my very good friend Rabiu Bangbola Lawal when he was then a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Science and Technology, I have grown to love the music to the core. I play it every morning before setting out to attend to my business. The music will remain till the end of time...it is evergreen.

I remember when this album was released by Baba Commander, my pappy was working in Ile-Ife, More Police Station, I just completed my primary school and crossed to St. Johns Grammar School. My Pappa plays this song on his set, feels so happy and contented . Naija was then a place one can call a home. Always pray for early school closure in order to run home, be home with people at home, play and play, seldom power supply failure, there used to be tap water. One can sleep on the verandar (balcony) at night if one feels too hot in the room. God is great and will always remain the greatest.

Whenever I listened to dis music, I cried alot bcos I was really goin tru hard time. No mother, my father had nothin and I must survived . So, I listened to dis music alot den to keep hope alive and stayed strong. But today, I thank God almighty dat it ends well.
