I am stoked and excited to order my Plaid. I was a Plaid+ reservation holder and really wanted the longer range with the 4680 battery pack. But the tech and improvements in the Plaid convinced me that I can live with the Plaid. Thanks Zac and Jesse for bringing me to that decision.

How fast a battery can charge is also due to thermal management so if they have a bigger radiator it stands to reason that it will be able to charge faster.

Dude that one second clip of your motors would explode and seeing a car with explosions at the wheel was so cool. Like I know the motors are there but so many years of engine under the hood makes it so unusual for that explosion location. Cool

Guys. I think the waypoints are in the new UI. If you go back and watch the video on the bottom screen was a waypoint icon.

I have a gx61 toyota cresta 1983 had a factory aux plug has digital dash, and all electric everything japanese were doing some crazy stuff back then, but the aux plug in blew my mind

18650's have a way shorter jelly roll so can charge and discharge faster, the big change is the huge heat exchanger snd HVAC system so you can keep lapping 🤞🤞🤞

Hi Zac and Jessy,
I saw in the owners manual of the new Model S that the nominal Voltage is 450V. Old was 300-350V. Model 3 is 360V. So indeed the pack architecture must have changed somehow, even it uses the old 18650 format. Maybe you can address it somehow.
This could inpact the charging also as well as less build up heat by power usage and recuperation.
