THAT's right there. It's the moment where I could feel the connection between the two. I like how Colin like Pen's sassy part meaning he likes the other half of her as well (the Lady Whistledown).

The moment right after his dialogue is played with such subtlety by both the actors.... It's a poignant moment, when Colin actually takes a second glance at Penelope and starts to realise there's more to Pen than meets the eye... Usually he talks to Penelope only for the sake of politeness but here you see that spark of interest in his eyes at Pen's snark. Pen realises this too and hence ducks her head, feeling shy. Like she has let him see more than she thought.
