I'm a dentist. If the photos of the upper bridge are of the one in question then without any possible doubt, that is not one that's been taken out of a box. You can clearly see some attached pieces of dentine around the 2 gold posts (the metal pins sticking out of the top of the bridge), an unworn bridge just wouldn't look like that. It looks like it's been removed fairly forcibly, thus breaking off the dentine from the roots of the 2 incisors.
The strange bridge on the lower right side is pretty standard from the time, the canine tooth was thought to have a "strong" root system to support the false tooth, rather than the premolar immediately in front of the space, so the false tooth has been connected to the canine using a "stress breaker" design to avoid applying excess torque to the canine.
Fascinating series, I can't wait for part 4. Thank you so much.

There is an interview out of Hans Baur, his private pilot, who stayed with him in the bunker till the end. Hitler and Eva were burnt with 200 liters petrol which is way to less too turn a body into ashes. He stated that he had been lied to by officers that the corpse was decimated, otherwise he would have thrown him personally into the heaters of bunker. While Werner Naumann was able to flee the building, Baur and Hitler's dentist Hugo Blaschke got caught in RU captivity and were flown to Berlin in 1946 to identify the corpse. He told that the body was rather cooked than burned. Baur offered the opportunity to fly Hitler everywhere, Argentina, Egypt, Sahara but he refused because his will was to not leave Germany. Adolf's personal horror scenario in bunker was that he would get captured as he was sure allies and soviets would put him in a cage and drag him around the world like a safari animal.

This is so well researched. I always considered myself to be pretty educated regarding WWII but this channel has proven me wrong. I tune in every time there's a new video. I'm going through a pretty rough patch in my life but these videos help me forget for a bit, and learn new things constantly. Thank you Mark

Parkinsonism is a REST-tremor, not an INTENT-tremor. Meaning that while shaking all over the place when at rest, the hand is fully capable of aiming. Especially at one's own head. Furthermore: Caliber .32 does not guarantee an exit wound of the human skull.

Somehow, as many times as I've heard or read about the bodies, I had never heard that the left foot was missing and never recovered. I learn something new every time you release a video.

Honestly the idea that he died but that he made sure his body was not found by the Soviets kind of make sense to me, it matches the way they destroyed the Berghof and Himmler's castle and other stuff, like hiding the death head rings. They were obsessed with not letting their stuff be seized in those final days, why not the body of their dear leader himself?

Kudos to Mr. Mark Felton for achieving a cliffhanger ending from a "well established historical fact" happened more than 78 years ago.

By far the best book about this is “the Berlin Bunker “ by J P O’Donnell. He was an American journalist and army officer who was the first American to enter the bunker in 1945. He was fascinated by the story and followed it for the next 30 years. He was a fluent German speaker and interviewed the bunker occupants at length over many years. Post mortem injuries to the bodies was highly likely as the bunker area was under heavy artillery fire particularly after General Krebs inadvertently revealed it to the Soviets during the abortive ceasefire talks.. I find it hard to believe that a complex plan to hide the bodies could have taken place while the bunker was under heavy fire and the bunker occupants were keen to get away.

I can add that from a ballistic aspect, if Hitler used his .32 acp Walther to shoot himself, it would be extremely unlikely that the round would exit the head. That caliber is not powerful enough to penetrate through and through the cranial dome. It will however kill very well. I have been on suicide scenes where a .32 was used in an identical manner and the effects were rather immediate.

Was Hitlers dental record really a “bridge too far”?

…nothing frightens me more than the thought of a Nazi dentist. Does anyone remember the film Marathon Man, with Dustin Hofmann and Lawrence Olivier? As a 12 year old, it was pretty traumatic watching him drill a hole in his front tooth whilst interrogating/extracting information out of him

Mark really is my go to guy on WW2 history ever since I was a kid watching this stuff on History Channel when it was still legit. Hello from California Mark!

I've got 0 idea where Dr.Felton gets this thorough research from for all his videos, quite frankly it must be a very laborious job of searching books & websites etc for this info.

Thank you once again Dr.Felton. You have done more to portray WW2 history accurately than quite a few governments & nations.

Damnit now I can’t wait for episode 4! This is so fascinating. What if Hitler changed his mind so somebody shot him? Or even if his body is still underneath that parking lot, and that was just a random German that they incinerated and then planted the dental work in his mouth.. My mind whirs at the possibility’s if the original base story we know to be true, ends up having more holes than a strainer.

Mark, thank you, wonderful work.
Some corrections, or at least comments to address two discrepancies: 1) regarding Parkinson' disease, in some instances, the shaking hand stops the involuntary flipping if an object is grabbed. It is not possible to rule out he was unable to handle a fire arm chambered in 380 or lesses caliper. 2) I have autopsy evidence in not related situations, where the bullet that enters the temple or even the ear drum, does not necessarily exits the skull, For example a caliper 38S (not 38 +P), a 380, or a 22LR, might actually "bounce" so to speak, inside the skull, leaving only an entrance injury.

Thank you sir.
