MLB The Show 22 is an upcoming baseball video game by San Diego Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, based on Major League Baseball (MLB). It will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, a first for the franchise.[1] The seventeenth entry of the MLB: The Show franchise, it will be released on April 5, 2022.[1] Los Angeles Angels two-way player Shohei Ohtani is featured as the cover star.[1] A special manga style art by Takashi Okazaki of Shohei Ohtani will be the cover art for the collector's edition of MLB The Show 22.[2]

For the second consecutive year, the Xbox versions of the game will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost at release.[3] People who purchased the MVP or Digital Deluxe editions received early access to the game starting April 1.[4]

This will be the 1st MLB The Show game without any competitors either simulation, or arcade as the R.B.I. Baseball series ended due to the Switch getting a port.

Every time i hit advance in the road to the show and its like it doesn’t register the input. I even put it on RT and LT and i hit RT and my guy will stop then try to go or wont go at all. Is this a user error or what i dont understand why this is a issue

What if you have two runners on base, like one dude on third and one dude on first, and you want to steal with only one of them how would I do that?

The programming for baserunning in The Show is terrible at times. How do you make a baseball game where the runners don't take off on two outs when the ball is put in play?

How do you only tag one runner? This surprisingly comes up a lot for me and kills me. I can't take it. I never learned how to use the left stick

I play on xbox and I try to tap the A button as fast as I can whenever I bunt or am trying to make it on base after a grounder.. I noticed it actually makes a difference. I figured I'd mention it.

The base running is pretty messed up right now. The lead runner has a habit of freezing up when the ball is in the air. Sometimes they won't advance when you try to get them to, and finally takes off when the trailing runner is right behind them, which causes multiple runners on the same base.

I've had this happen to me multiple times in moments, when I'm not even controlling the runners. I've had the runner freeze up when they should've been running back to a base after the fielder makes a catch as well.

How to steal with somebody on third and first ? I always get it to where both runners run

The faster you can tap the a button the faster you can watch your batter fly to first for sure

If I have a runner on 1st and 3rd and want the guy on 1st to steal do I tap 2nd base on the controller and tap L2?
